Does my health insurance cover hearing aids?
Many insurance providers do provide a hearing benefit. To determine if your health insurance covers hearing aids, check with your individual plan. Most plans have a toll-free number for member services listed on the insurance card.

Can Start Hearing call my health insurance provider to see if I am covered for hearing aids?
Start Hearing would be happy to do a courtesy verification of benefits with your insurance plan to see if you have in/out of network hearing benefits. Does Medicare provide coverage for hearing aids?
At this time, Medicare does not cover hearing aids; however, many Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare supplemental plans do. Give us a call at (888) 778-4760 and a Hearing Care Advisor can help determine which Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplemental plans can provide you with a hearing benefit.
Does the VA cover hearing services?
According to VA.gov, if you are a veteran and are enrolled in VA health care system, you are eligible for comprehensive audiology diagnostic evaluations. Specific eligibility rules apply to hearing aid services.
